About the Foundation
Our goal is to provide golf learning facilities and the experience that will enable kids to partake of a game that teaches values for life and which can be played for a life time. Workshops and lessons will be offered at San Lameer.
The Mark McNulty Junior Golf Foundation is a junior golf program designed to help junior golfers of all levels and ages. Our objective is to use golf as a medium to improve a child’s development on and off the golf course, while growing the game of golf.
The Mark McNulty Junior Golf Foundation was founded by Mark McNulty with the support of the San Lameer golf professionals.
1. 
To promote and enhance the game of golf by giving instructional and educational advice to junior members at San Lameer Golf Course & Country Club.
2. To uplift young golfers who show a natural ability to excel at the game and, occasionally, invite a junior to San Lameer who shows exceptional talent.
3. To develop junior members’ golf skills, including the basic rules and etiquette of golf, and hone their ability to compete in tournaments
4. To develop the junior members based upon The First Tee Of America’s Nine core values, so they see success in life on and off the golf course.
Workshops
Mark McNulty presents regular workshops at San Lameer. The children of San Lameer Country Club members and/or San Lameer homeowners are welcome to partake in this masterclass.

Meet the Directors of the Mark McNulty Junior Golf Foundation
Mark McNulty
Mark turned professional in 1977, he cracked the top 10 official World Rankings for 83 weeks from 1987 – 1992. Mark won the Million Dollar Classic at Sun City in 1986 and was a Presidents Cup Captain’s Assistant twice.
Pierre van Vuuren
Pierre is the General Manager at San Lameer. He is passionate about growing golf and passing on his knowledge to junior golfers. Pierre also spent 3 years coaching junior golf in America.
Banus van der Walt
Banus is a retired property practitioner and an avid golfer. Banus was previously the managing director of Sanlam Properties and Gensec Property Services for 16 years.
Dr Robbie Robinson
Robbie is a retired dentist from Durban and has been a director of Cape Gannet Properties since 2000, Robbie is a devoted grandfather, a keen golfer and lover of the arts.
